Located at Rua de São Paulo, near Cais do Sodré,
CANTINA PERUANA is a unique restaurant
that offers a contemporary Peruvian cuisine signed by chef Diego Muñoz,
along with Lisbon’s best PISCO BAR.
Cantina Peruana is the result of the great friendship between Diego Muñoz and José Avillez.
Diego Muñoz and José Avillez had been wanting to develop a project together
since they worked alongside each other in El Bulli’s kitchen, but it wasn’t until 2016,
when Diego came to Lisbon and fell in love with the city, that they started shaping this concept.
According to Peruvian tradition, cantinas are meeting places
to have lunch, a snack, dinner or drinks, and linger on through the night.
Diego Muñoz’ CANTINA PERUANA honours that spirit
and celebrates Peruvian cuisine’s authentic flavours.
CANTINA PERUANA’s menu was created by Diego Muñoz
and invites you on a walk through the streets of Lima,
with its different gastronomic influences
—Andean, Spanish, African, Japanese and Chinese—
incorporating the innovation that contemporary cuisine
has brought to these traditions.
Diego Muñoz divided Cantina Peruana’s Menu into
CRUDOS, BRASAS, FRITURAS, WOK and DULCES.
At CANTINA PERUANA, all the dishes are meant for sharing.
At CANTINA PERUANA, the experience starts at PISCO BAR Lisboa,
a unique bar that livens up the city’s days and nights.
Already famous for its original, fresh and colourful cocktails
PISCO BAR's menu includes LOS SOURS,
the most traditional and famous cocktails in Peru;
LOS CHILCANOS, very fresh cocktails with pisco and ginger;
and LOS EXPLORADORES.
At PISCO BAR LISBOA you can also try
the famous Chicha Morada
(an alcohol-free infusion of apple juice, pineapple
and purple corn that is very popular in Peru)
along with a wide selection of beer, gin, rum, tequila and whiskey.
At PISCO BAR Lisboa, it’s ‘mandatory’ to taste, to enjoy and to socialize.
